‘Real Housewives Of Atlanta’ Star Kenya Moore Doesn’t Want NeNe Leakes’ ‘Phony’ Apology

“The Real Housewives Of Atlanta” Season 12 has been a challenging time for cast member NeNe Leakes, and it appears her co-star, Kenya Moore, has no plans on making the reunion any easier.

Although NeNe attempted to mend her strained friendships with her castmates on the latest season of the Bravo series, Kenya was not interested in fixing their relationship.

Entertainment Tonight obtained a first look at part three of “The Real Housewives Of Atlanta” Season 12 reunion. In the clip, Kenya opens up to Andy Cohen about why she hasn’t been receptive to NeNe’s attempts to fix their relationship.

Although Kenya claims she reached out to NeNe when she learned the 52-year-old’s husband, Gregg Leakes, had cancer, the former beauty queen revealed NeNe didn’t contact her throughout her pregnancy.

“She never asked me about myself, and I look at all that, and I just said, you know what? This lady is not for me,” Kenya told the host.

During the conversation, the “Watch What Happens Live” host pointed out that NeNe tried to speak to Kenya on camera during the cast trip to Greece and a bowling event, but Kenya refused to hear out.

“Because, Andy, I know it was all fake and phony because of our history, and I can see fake a mile away,” she explained.

“So why should I accept an olive branch if it’s covered in poison ivy?”

Meanwhile, her co-star Cynthia Bailey reflected on the fact that NeNe attempted to smooth things over with Kenya, but the model was unsure about whether NeNe’s efforts were genuine.

“I do know that when we started filming this season, NeNe was very interested in meeting up with Kenya," she said.

“Maybe she was trying to make amends with her for whatever her reasons were, but I do know that NeNe wanted to meet up with Kenya,” Cynthia added.

“RHOA” viewers saw NeNe walk out of part 2 of the reunion, and it is unclear whether she will return to wrap up the rest of the season with the cast.

Part three of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” Season 12 reunion is expected to air Sunday on Bravo.
