‘Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills’ Star Brandi Glanville Opens Up About Leaving The Show
It’s official -- Brandi Glanville will not be returning to “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” for Season 6. The 42-year-old reality star confirmed her exit during an episode of her podcast, “Brandi Glanville Unfiltered.”
Us Weekly reports Brandi shared the sad news with podcast listeners, saying, “I have decided not to return to the ‘Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.’” She added that throughout her four years with the network, Bravo had become her “family.”
While discussing her decision to leave the popular “Housewives” franchise, Brandi said that her time on “RHOBH” was “a complete roller coaster of a ride.” She said that she was grateful to have been a part of it and revealed what she’ll be doing with her free time now that the ride is over.
“In the meantime, I’m working hard on my podcast, my new wine business, and my clothing line. And keep an eye out for my next adventure that will show everyone a more well-rounded side of who I really am,” she said.
Initial reports of Brandi’s departure surfaced on June 18, suggesting that her many feuds with other members of the show’s cast had cost her a full-time spot on “RHOBH.” Following those claims, People magazine suggested it was her “diva” behavior that had done her in. Sources added that she had gotten “too big for her britches,” and that the other women on the show refused to shoot with her.
Brandi isn’t the only housewife leaving “RHOBH” ahead of Season 6. On June 3, news broke that Kim Richards had been demoted to a “friend” of the “Housewives.” Network executives reportedly felt that she was too much of a liability following her April 16 arrest in which she was charged with public intoxication, and battery on a police officer, among other charges.
Bravo has yet to announce who will be filling the two vacant spots on “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” cast. At this time it is not known when Season 6 will air.
