‘Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills’: What Did Harry Hamlin Do? Actor Addresses Fight Between Wife Lisa Rinna And Kim Richards
Actor Harry Hamlin finally is speaking out after making headlines regarding a fight between his wife, Lisa Rinna, and her “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” co-star Kim Richards. During a recent episode of the hit Bravo reality series, Lisa apologized for involving herself in Kim’s personal business. Kim responded by threatening to reveal a secret about Lisa and her husband of 18 years. The threat, which TMZ claims had no factual basis, sent Lisa into a glass-breaking rage.
The 51-year-old TV personality addressed her behavior on social media after the show aired, admitting that her reaction was not the best. Still, she joked about what the secret may be, begging the question, “#WhatDidHarryDo.” Now, Harry is addressing the controversy – and even he isn’t sure what the secret could possibly be.
Us Weekly caught up with Hamlin during a Raising the Bar to End Parkinson’s event in Sherman Oaks, California, Saturday, where he commented on the debacle. Hamlin, who reportedly was against filming the reality show initially, said he was “actually proud” of his wife for coming to his defense.
“She and I would equally defend each other’s honor,” he told Us. “I was actually proud of her. I mean, look – you are getting your back up against a wall with something like that. What do you expect you know in the long run? But every time I see it, I go, ‘You go, girl!’ ”
The 63-year-old, who Lisa said was ready to divorce her if she went ahead with the series, also told the magazine he was happy with his wife’s portrayal on the show.
“Well, you know, I am [proud] because she’s doing a magnificent job,” he said. “I think she’s bringing some class to a show that is kind of a reflection of who we are today. So in some sense it is art in that respect. I think she’s doing an extraordinary job.”
As for that big secret, Harry says if you have any clue what it may be, feel free to reach out via Twitter.
“There is a hashtag #WhatDidHarryDo? out there so maybe someone will tell me at some point, and I hope it was good,” he laughed.
“The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. EDT on Bravo.
