‘Real Housewives Of NYC’ Alum Carole Radziwill Defends Feuding With Bethenny Frankel
Carole Radziwill may have quit “The Real Housewives Of New York City” but it hasn’t stopped the star from calling out fans who are criticizing her feud with former bestie Bethenny Frankel.
The drama started on Thursday when fans began to accuse Carole of bashing Bethenny in her blogs. On screen, the “RHONY” Season 10 star documented the unraveling of the tight bond the ladies once shared, but off-screen, some fans felt as if the Emmy winning journalist was being cruel to her former pal.
One fan suggested that Carole’s behavior towards Bethenny was justified since the star used the blogs to defend herself against the Skinnygirl founder’s verbal attacks. “I went and looked (not the norm for me bc the show is enough already): @CaroleRadziwill doesn’t “bash” or “mean girl” Bethenny in her blog posts. She stands up to her and her perspective on events. Kinda a different thing. #RHONY,” the fan tweeted.
Carole agreed with the individual and stated she enjoyed writing the blogs throughout the season. “I make that very clear at the reunion,” she wrote.
However, when one fan accused the star of feeling superior to Bethenny, Carole brushed off the allegations while giving the individual a spelling lesson.
“Carole, You sit on your JFK connections, ABC, Writer Thrown and think you are the Queen. So sorry that @Bethenny is so much more relevant then you and your past careers. You could of been her equal but your inflated ego got the best of you. Thats why you quit #RHONY Its B’s show,” the fan tweeted.
“Sure, if that makes you feel better. (And it’s throne),” Carole replied.
Carole’s comments come just days after fans of the Bravo series accused her of shading Bethenny following the death of her ex-boyfriend, Dennis Shields.
Sources told TMZ the 51-year-old, who died in his NYC apartment last week, took a prescribed dose of oxycodone, Vicodin and a sleeping pill to help cope with pain from a back injury. An official autopsy report has yet to be released.
While she has been relatively silent on social media following Dennis’ death, on Friday, Bethenny shared a special message on Instagram thanking everyone for their support during her difficult time.
