‘Real Housewives Of Orange County’ Alum Meghan Edmonds’ Husband Jim Shades Controlling Wife

“Real Housewives of Orange County” fans were shocked after Meghan Edmonds’ husband, Jim Edmonds, filed for divorce on Friday. The news of the couple’s split comes after the Bravo claimed they were working on their marriage.

On Saturday, the split appeared to take a nasty turn after Jim appeared to shade his estranged wife on his Instagram Story with a quote. While the cryptic post didn’t name Meghan, it appeared to allude to the couple’s failed marriage.

“No one can throw a bigger tantrum than a narcissist whose [sic] losing control of someone else’s mind,” the post read.

Us Weekly reported that Jim later set his Instagram account to private. The “RHOC” alum’s marriage to the former athlete appeared to face trouble in June when the former baseball player was at the center of a texting scandal.

Jim admitted to having inappropriate conversations with someone while Meghan was pregnant with their twins.

Following news of Meghan and Jim’s divorce, a source told the outlet that the couple was not getting along. “Meghan and Jim have been fighting. The latest fight began when he went to a recent hockey game, and she began interrogating him about who he went with,” the insider revealed.

Meghan reportedly accused Jim of having an affair with one of their four nannies. “The nanny is someone who has worked for them for years and is like family,” the source explained.

“During the argument, Meghan called the cops, but nothing came of it. Jim didn’t put his hands on her. The police chalked it up to a verbal dispute. No arrests were made.”

Meghan and Jim’s divorce comes after five years of marriage. The former couple shares three children together, daughter Aspen, 2, and twin sons Hart and Hayes, 16 months.
