Actors Brad Pitt and Leonardo DiCaprio were not feuding on the sets of their upcoming movie “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood,” despite rumors. Gossip Cop debunked reports stating the two stars were not hitting it off while shooting for their new film.

According to OK! the two actors are at war with each other. The magazine quoted a source saying, “The perception is that Brad’s enjoying himself and has this deep friendship with Leo, but the truth is, they don’t get along very well at all. They’ve always had an intense professional rivalry and don’t actually have much in common.”

The alleged insider added jealousy was to be blamed for the rivalry between the two.

“Brad probably doesn’t want to admit it, but I think he’s a little threatened by Leo. Leo steals every single scene and leaves Brad feeling annoyed. They go their separate ways as soon as director Quentin Tarantino yells, ‘Cut!’” the source continued.

Pitt’s representative went on record to dismiss the report, saying there were no issues between the actor and his co-star.

In recent photos from the set of the movie, the two can be seen sharing a laugh during a break. According to Daily Mail, which posted the image, “the mood seemed jovial” on the set.

In August, Gossip Cop debunked a report on OK!’s sister outlet, Star, which falsely stated DiCaprio was setting Pitt up with models. It quoted an insider saying, “Leo offered to set Brad up with models, and even gave him permission to hook up with any his exes like Nina Agdal, Kelly Rohrbach, Toni Garrn and Erin Heatherton!”

The insider went on to say DiCaprio was also seeking girlfriend Camila Morrone’s help to introduce Pitt to a few of her friends, including Kendall Jenner and Sara Sampaio.

“He told Brad he needs to embrace his hot dad status and get back out there,” the alleged source said.

A source close to Pitt told Gossip Cop the magazine’s article was completely “false.”

“Upon a Time in Hollywood” is set in Hollywood in the sixties. While DiCaprio has been cast as Rick Dalton, an aging television actor who failed to transition into movies, Pitt plays Cliff Booth, his stunt double. The movie also stars Margot Robbie who plays the actress Sharon Tate. The director said he had been working on the script for the film for half a decade.

"I’ve been working on this script for five years, as well as living in Los Angeles County most of my life, including in 1969, when I was seven years old. I’m very excited to tell this story of an L.A. and a Hollywood that don't exist anymore. And I couldn't be happier about the dynamic teaming of DiCaprio & Pitt as Rick & Cliff,” he said, Business Insider reported.

The first look of the movie was out in June and it is all set to release Aug. 9, 2019.
