Reality Behind George Clooney Divorcing ‘Pregnant’ Amal Over ‘Demanding Behavior’

A new report claimed George Clooney was divorcing wife Amal Clooney, who was pregnant with their third baby. Gossip Cop debunked both aspects of the report and stated their marriage was going strong and they were not expecting another child.

According to the Globe, George was unhappy with Amal’s “demanding behavior,” and his friends believe he was preparing to file for a “billion-dollar divorce.”

The magazine quoted an insider saying, “They fight over everything, large and small, and he’s getting so tired of getting beaten down by her intellect and superior way of speaking that he’s willing to walk. They fight over his booze business, their money and his showbiz friends that Amal can’t – or won’t – relate to.”

The supposed source also claimed the attorney “hates Hollywood” and was “rude to George’s friends.”

The alleged insider added George, who had one-year-old twins with Amal, “complains he’s nagged all the time over whether it’s his turn to change the diapers or put the kids to bed with a story.”

Amal “has been on his back over his reckless behavior” ever since his scooter accident in July, “and how he needs to be more responsible now that he’s a husband and father,” the source said.

The magazine then goes on to say rumors were flying that Amal may be pregnant with what was supposed to be “a marriage-saving third baby.”

“That would be unfortunate timing. George would have to rethink his exit strategy if that turns out to be true,” the insider further alleged, adding that George has “secretly consulted his lawyers” to prevent his Amal from walking away with his fortune and trying to get primary custody of their children. “The bickering has George miserable. He’s ready to walk,” the source concluded.

The entire reported seems flawed from the very beginning. At Variety ’s annual Power of Women luncheon last month, George introduced himself as “Mr. Amal Clooney,” while at the AFI Life Achievement Award earlier this year, Amal spoke about her admiration for her spouse.

"Although George's modesty attributes much of the success we are celebrating here tonight to luck, I think it's incredible talent and character that got him here and these attributes also make him an amazing husband and father," she said, E!News reported.

Amal also recalled how she met George when she was 35 and realized she would never want to be with anyone else.

"I couldn't sleep when we were apart and I'm told that I would display a particular grin and head-tilt when reading his text messages or the letters that he would hide in my bag. Five years later, none of that has changed. He is the person who has my complete admiration and also the person whose smile makes me melt every time,” she added.

The claim about Amal expecting a child was also false. In an interview with Hollywood Reporter, she said they were not planning on having another baby. George too said in another interview that he was “done” having kids.
