Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt are still being linked to each other even though they’ve been divorced since 2005.

A recent claim made by Star claimed that the “Friends” alum broke down into tears when she found out that Brad Pitt has moved on with another woman. Angelina Jolie’s ex-husband is rumored to be dating Alia Shawkat.

An unnamed source told the tabloid that Jennifer Aniston found out about Brad Pitt’s new romance while dining at a restaurant. The actress received a text from one of her close pals and after she read it her mouth dropped.

“She excused herself and went to the restroom, where she tried to calm herself down. She told herself it was bound to happen. But she got very emotional and just sobbed,” the unnamed source said.

However, it is important to take these kinds of claims with a grain of salt. As of late, there has been no confirmation that Brad Pitt and Alia Shawkat are really dating.

The rumors started after Pitt and Shawkat were spotted at the opening of the “A Play Is A Poem” in Los Angeles. But at that time, they were also joined by their common friends.

There has been no indication that the two actors are romantically involved with each other. They may have been photographed hugging each other, but friends also engage in the same gesture.

As such, it is unlikely that Jennifer Aniston would break down in tears at the thought of her ex-husband moving on especially if Brad Pitt isn’t dating Alia Shawkat.

And during a previous interview with Vanity Fair, the actress made it clear that she and Pitt are already divorced so he could do whatever he likes.

“He makes his choices. He can do—whatever. We’re divorced, and you can see why. It’s not my concern anymore. What happened to him after the separation—it’s his life now. I’ve made a conscious effort not to add to the toxicity of this situation,” she said.
