Rebel Wilson is inching closer to her weight goal because she is only six pounds away from achieving it.

The "Pitch Perfect" star has documented her weight loss journey on social media. On Sunday, she shared a selfie after her workout and announced how proud she was of herself.

"Happy Sunday everyone!" Wilson wrote on Instagram.

"Gearing up for a great week ahead x this week was super busy but I got up super early 3 times (6am) and went on a hike...even did a couple of 100m sprints to get the heart rate even higher (although my ‘sprint’ is probably someone else’s ‘slow jog’) but I felt proud of myself and now only 3kg’s away from my goal weight! Rebs x."

Several were very happy for Wilson's achievement. Her fans and followers poured her post with warm messages, praising her new body and they encouraged her to reach her goal. Several also thanked her for sharing her journey because she inspired many to do the same.

"You are an inspiration to muse and others. Thank you for sharing this very private part of your life. We are all cheering for all your successes," one commented.

"Looking amazing Rebel," another added.

"Keep up the amazing job, it looks like you have to set a new goal weight why settled you got this beautiful," a different user wrote.

Earlier this year, many noticed that she looked slimmer when she shared a snap of her wearing a green dress. “Dance Moms” dance instructor Abby Lee Miller even commented "SKINNY!!!!" on her picture.

In July, Wilson sat for an exclusive interview with The Sun and discussed her weight loss journey. She admitted she made the decision to slim down and stop overeating when she turned 40 years old.

"I turned 40 as well in March and so I thought, this is gonna be it. This is going to be the year for me to just concentrate on the health benefits," the actress said.

She also revealed that she wanted to lose weight to improve her mental balance. She admitted that she was paid "a lot of money to be bigger" and it kind of "mess with your head a bit."
