'Red Dead Redemption 2' On GTX 1060
The GTX 1060 6GB setup is the recommended GPU of Rockstar Games for “Red Dead Redemption 2.” If you want to achieve 1080/60fps, it is worth noting that it is only achievable on the lowest/highest performance graphics preset of the automatic tool. “Red Dead Redemption 2” PC version is an open-world title that offers an impressive selection of graphics options. For players who simply want to play the game and do not like tinkering on individual settings, simply use the automatic preset tools. This will work just fine, considering that the GPU is supported.
For 1080p/60fps, use GTX 1060 with auto performance settings. The GTX 1080 offers a significant increase in visual fidelity and 60 fps at 1440p. However, this is not powerful enough for 4K. Meanwhile, the entry-level GTX 1050 can get 30 fps but, the game does not look as amazing as other settings.
Using an integrated Vega 11 can achieve 720p/30 fps on the lowest possible settings. Since this GPU is not supported, it entails manual setting with some minor issues.
Rockstar Games recently issued a statement apologizing to “Red Dead Redemption 2” PC players for the inconvenience several issues have caused them. The game developer assured the community that it would release updates as soon as they become available.
