It's not like it was a surprise that there would be a red carpet before the 63rd annual Primetime Emmy Awards on Sunday, so why did so many stars boldly wear red?
Red was the popular color for the 2011 Emmy Awards red carpet on Sunday evening, leaving viewers wondering where the red hot trend arose from.
Rookies like Lea Michele in Marchesa to seasoned champs like Kate Winslet in an Elie Saab cap-sleeved dress all donned bold red dresses for the occasion.
Others chose a bold red lip or red shoes to latch onto the red trend for the Emmys.
