Reese Witherspoon Raves About Husband Jim Toth Following Divorce Rumors; Shares New Photo Of Son Tennessee
Reese Witherspoon had nothing but kind things to say about her husband, Jim Toth, on social media Thursday. Amid rumors of an impending divorce, the Oscar-winning actress touted Toth’s husbandly skills and even shared a rare photo of her youngest son Tennessee.
“Every day, I’m so thankful to have this amazing man as my partner. I would not be where I am in this life if I didn’t have his constant encouragement and complete support,” Witherspoon captioned an image of Toth holding hands with Tennessee, 2, on her Instagram, Twitter and Facebook accounts.
The “Wild” actress went on to compliment the entertainment agent on keeping their household -- which also includes her two children with ex-husband Ryan Phillippe, Ava, 15, and 11-year-old Deacon -- running smoothly. “He changes diapers, makes car pool runs and always has time to give me a much needed pep talk,” Witherspoon dished, adding, “He makes a really good latte too!”
Witherspoon said she shared the private details about her relationship with Toth in order to support the Lean In organization, which encourages women to “reach their goals at work and at home.” “Lean In is asking us to celebrate the men in our lives who love, help and support us daily!” Witherspoon said.
This isn’t the first time the Hollywood A-lister has raved about Toth. The actress called her marriage to her husband of four years “incredible” in an interview with Glamour magazine in December. “It’s really wonderful being with somebody who supports me, who loves me, who is my number one fan,” she said. “That is such an incredible experience. You have to be ready for those things. I had to be in a place where I felt all those things about myself.”
Witherspoon’s latest compliments of Toth come on the heels of reports she was headed for her second divorce. In September, Star magazine reported that the film star’s marriage was in jeopardy. “Reese and Jim’s relationship is definitely not in the best shape. They’ve been arguing constantly and spending a lot of time apart,” an alleged insider close to the couple revealed. “It’s almost like they’re living separate lives.”
The tabloid claimed that their troubles stemmed from their difference of opinion in how they raise their son and how to decorate their then new home in Nashville, Tennessee. “Their arguments get extremely heated, typically ending with Reese crying or Jim storming out,” said a source. “Jim and Reese love each other as human beings, but as a couple it's just been a struggle. They don’t see eye to eye on a lot of things and both are extremely stubborn people.”
