‘Reign’ Season 1 Spoilers: Episode 16 Synopsis Leaked Online; What Will Happen In ‘Monsters’? [PHOTOS & VIDEO]

“Reign” fans better get ready for some brotherly love. Francis and Bash may have been on the outs after Mary was forced to choose between the brothers, but the pair will be putting their differences aside in episode 16, “Monsters.”

Last time “Reign” viewers left off, Bash had been banished from the castle and accused Francis of taking a hit out on him. Bash ended up surviving the attack, but after a talk with Mary decided to leave France for good … until he discovered “The Darkness.” Episode 15 found him desperately trying to save his friend Rowan from a monster who terrorizes the woods for human sacrifices, but King Henry’s bastard son ended up failing.

Bash isn’t one to give up though. According to a synopsis for episode 16, Bash will be enlisting the help of his estranged brother to “uncover the threat in the woods.” And while Francis agrees to accompany Bash, the future King of France ends up “in grave danger” … and only Bash can save him.

As the brothers become entangled in a life or death situation, drama will be brewing at the castle. Over the past couple of weeks “Reign” viewers have watched as King Henry became crazed, leading him to commit violent and deadly acts. And unfortunately for the people surrounding him, he’s continuing to bring the chaos.

“Monsters” will find one servant lucking out and winning the castle’s annual “Queen for the Day” event. But what that servant doesn’t expect is for the mad King to become obsessed with her. Will Queen Catherine and Kenna be able to save her before Henry becomes too aggressive? Or will the servant become his next victim?

The mysterious servant won’t be the only one that King Henry has his eyes on. At Court he’ll be forcing a “surprising, and unbreakable, union with a new couple.” Could the King be forcing a suitor on his mistress Kenna? Did he somehow find out that Lola is pregnant with Francis’ baby? “Reign” fans will have to wait and see.

Meanwhile, Greer will be meeting the suitor her parents have arranged for her … while Lord Castleroy is still at the castle! However her reputation may become ruined when someone catches her kissing kitchen servant Leith.
