While some religious holidays always fall on the same day every year, like Christmas, many others shift in response to the lunar calendar. With 2016 quickly approaching, below is a list of religious holidays for nine of the world’s major religions. Please note: Jewish, Baha’i and Islamic holidays begin at sunset the previous day.
