Remembering Debbie Reynolds And Carrie Fisher: Check Out Billie Lourd's Adorable Instagram Posts Of Her Grandmother, Mom
“Scream Queens” star Billie Lourd is lucky to have had a great relationship with her late mother, Carrie Fisher, and grandmother, Debbie Reynolds. Both ladies passed away late this December and were mourned by loved ones and countless fans.
Lourd has so far kept silent on social media regarding their passing, but there is no doubt as to the love she had for both ladies. The young actress often posts photos of Fisher and Reynolds on her Instagram page, whether it be to greet them a happy birthday, celebrate a red carpet event or just share an adorable throwback photo.
Based on her posts, Lourd adorably calls her mother “momby,” while she nicknamed her grandmother “FABadaba.”
It was family spokesperson Simon Halls who announced Fisher’s death earlier this week, according to Mississauga. “It is with a very deep sadness that Billie Lourd confirms that her beloved mother Carrie Fisher passed away at 8:55 this morning. She was loved by the world and she will be missed profoundly. Our entire family thanks you for your thoughts and prayers,” said Halls.
One of the things the family took care right away was the care of Fisher’s beloved bulldog, Gary. Lourd, who also has a French bulldog named Tina, will be taking responsibility for her mother’s pet.
Fisher suffered from a heart attack last Friday while on a flight from London to Los Angeles. She died two days later.
Her mother, Reynolds, followed her one day after since she got a stroke. She is survived by her son, Todd Fisher. “The last thing she said this morning was that she was very, very sad about losing Carrie and that she would like to be with her again,” Fisher told The Guardian. “Fifteen minutes later she suffered a severe stroke.”
Reynolds had Carrie and Todd with ex-husband Eddie Fisher, a singer. They got a divorce after Fisher was caught having an affair with actress Elizabeth Taylor.
