HTC Vivid, one of AT&T's first LTE phones, is now getting an over the air update to the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich software, and the Samsung Nexus S will get an additional update to fix battery problems from a previous update. Nokia designer Marko Ahtisaari has confirmed Nokia is working on building a tablet computer, but no other details were offered up. A Windows 8-powered 10-inch tablet would be logical given Nokia's close relationship with Microsoft, but that is not confirmed. All three major U.S. carriers regularly have short-term smartphone sales, but right now AT&T has the Samsung Galaxy S2 on sale for $99. The same phone is twice that on Sprint and T-Mobile. But Verizon also has some good phones for $99. The Droid Bionic and HTC Thunderbolt are both $99 and of course there is the iPhone 4. The difference is the Galaxy S2 is a much newer phone than the other three, and for $99 it beats them all handily.

Shopping for a camera doesn't have to be super complicated, and the Canon PowerShot S100 has gotten some of the best reviews around since it came out in 2011. But, it costs $400 on Amazon, a price many are simply not willing to pay.
