The child begs his father, 44-year-old He Liesheng, to pick him up but dad just keeps pushing him to run even more.

The 81-year-old grandmother of an officer on Police Commissioner Ray Kelly's security detail was struck in the face by a stray bullet Wednesday as she was preparing to sit down for dinner, according to the New York Post. Agripina Camacho was shot in the cheek as a bullet pierced the window of her Brooklyn apartment.
Brooklyn Police Officer Walking Again After Deadly Shootout
The Brooklyn police officer who was shot in the head just last week is already walking again, according to the New York Post. 29-year-old Officer Kevin Brennan was shot by Latin King member Luis Baby Ortiz, 21, during a violent encounter at the Bushwick Houses on January 31. He has been recovering at Bellevue Hospital since the incident.
Cancer Rates Triple Among 9/11 First Responders
A recent study has revealed that 297 of the 12,000 police officers who first responded to the 9/11 attacks have been diagnosed with cancer, triple the rate before the tragedy according to the Huffington Post. The Patrolmen's Benevolent Association (PBA) released figures that show that the cancer rate among NYPD officers has increased from six per year before the attacks to 16 per year after the attacks.

The woman, who has been identified as Areceli Luisjuan has sent at least three letters to the then-fourth-grader in 2009. Anti-Gay Beating Caught on Video: Victim Identified [VIDEO]
A young African-American man in Atlanta was ambushed and brutally beaten by members of a local gang for appearing to be gay. The assault took place on Feb. 4 and police were able to obtain footage of the attack from a nearby surveillance camera as well as from a YouTube video uploaded by one of the attackers. The video, which was also posted on WorldHipHop.com website, went viral overnight.
