‘Resurrection’ Season 2 Spoilers: Watch ‘Game Of Thrones’ Star Michelle Fairley In New Promo As Margaret Langston
“Resurrection” released a new promo for Season 2 of the undead drama. The show revealed earlier this summer that Michelle Fairley (Catelyn Stark on “Game of Thrones”) would join the cast as Jacob’s grandmother. Margaret Langston is the latest of the Returned and fans can see her for the first time in the promo.
Her son Henry is clearly in shock. Not only is his mother back from the dead, she is actually younger than Henry. Producers confirmed the awkward age difference at San Diego Comic-Con. However, an age difference seems like the least of Henry’s worries. Both his son and his mother have returned from the dead, and it looks like Jacob will still be around as well.
Though Henry and his wife sent Jacob off with Agent Bellamy, the Season 1 cliffhanger showed them getting stopped by military vehicles before they could ditch town. Though it seemed like authorities wanted the Returned killed, Jacob appears to have survived the roadblock. The new promo shows Jacob talking to his grandmother at the Langston mausoleum in the middle of the night.
“I died, but then I came back. Just like you, Grandma,” Jacob says.
However, Agent Bellamy may not have survived the Season 1 cliffhanger. He is shown waking up in a field. Agent Bellamy doesn’t really have time to stare at the clouds, but waking up in the middle of nowhere is pretty typical for someone who is newly Returned. Season 1 of "Resurrection" showed a Returned family from the 1950s looking for their son with a crescent shaped birthmark on the back of his neck. During the Season 1 finale it was revealed that Bellamy had the distinct marking. Even if Bellamy isn’t undead, expect plenty of others to join the Returned. The promo warns viewers: “More are coming.”
