'RHOA' Star Falynn Pina And Fiancé Jaylan Banks Announce Split Following Miscarriage

The "Real Housewives of Atlanta" star Falynn Pina and her finacé Jaylan Banks have announced that they are no longer together.

The couple broke the news about their split, which came after a month after Pina's miscarriage, in a joint statement released via their respective Instagram pages.

"It is with deep sadness in our hearts that we have decided to end our journey as a couple," they said. "Though we love each other very much, we feel it is best to part ways. Our bond as family and friends will never be broken."

"We ask for privacy at this time," their statement concluded.

Pina, 33, who appeared on "Real Housewives of Atlanta" from 2020 to 2021, turned off the comments on her post.

Banks didn't, and the comments section on his post was quickly filled with mixed reactions.

Television host Richie Skye simply dropped crying emojis, while artist Mariahlynn Boss expressed her shock, noting, "Wait what."

Some Instagram users called out the couple for sharing their breakup publicly and asking for privacy at the same time.

"Asking for privacy while you tell the public. You do know we wouldn't have known if you didn't tell us," one of them wrote, while another said, "If you wanted privacy why did yaw even make the post?? That's drawing more attention to yaw separation smh."

It can be recalled that the couple made headlines last month after Pina suffered a miscarriage.

The reality star shared a photo of her hand in the hospital on Jan. 11, captioning it with, "Last night, the Lord called our baby home. Though we understand that God has a plan, our home is filled with tears and broken hearts."

"Rest in heaven, Jean Pina👼🏾 Mommy and Daddy love you so very much," she added.

Pina didn't mention on social media that she was pregnant before disclosing her pregnancy loss.

The reality star shares a daughter named Emma Sang with Banks. They welcomed the baby girl in November 2021. One month before their baby's arrival, Pina announced that she and Banks had gotten engaged.
