‘RHOBH’ Star Garcelle Beauvais Explains Support For Denise Richards After Unfollowing Lisa Rinna
After filming “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” Season 10 reunion, Garcelle Beauvais is uncertain whether she wants to return for Season 11. The actress recently opened up about her relationship with the cast after unfollowing Lisa Rinna on social media.
Viewers of the Bravo series are aware that Denise Richards has been at odds with a majority of the cast, however, Garcelle has shown her support for “The Bold and the Beautiful” actress.
Even though Garcelle acknowledged that she unfollowed Lisa on Instagram because she was “without question” too hard with Denise during the reunion, she told Us Weekly’s “Hot Hollywood” podcast that she wouldn’t rule out the possibility of having a friendship with her co-star in the future.
“I wouldn’t say it’s over. But we’re not going to have any sleepovers anytime soon,” she said.
Garcelle went on to reveal that she was disappointed with the way the rest of the “RHOBH” cast teamed up against Denise. “I felt like [Denise] was being hit hard all the time, and I felt like it was hard, time after time, after time,” she said.
“At some point, you have to believe someone’s truth or just go, ‘OK’ and move on, but it wasn’t that way. I just felt like they were too harsh on her.”
The “Going to Bed With Garcelle” podcast host revealed that it took her some time to adjust to filming “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” alongside her castmates.
“I didn’t know what to expect. … It’s different watching it at home, and you’re eating snacks and watching it, and you’re not involved in it.”
Garcelle admitted that she was so riled up after filming the reunion that it took her some time to calm her emotions. The tense gathering resulted in the star having doubts about returning to the reality series.
“I’m waiting it out. I kept on saying, ‘Let me get through the reunion.’ I got through the reunion. Oh, my God. It took me two days to shake that damn day,” she explained.
Bravo has not officially announced a Season 11 for the reality series.
For now, fans can catch “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” Season 10 on Wednesdays at 9 p.m. EDT on Bravo.
