‘RHONJ’ Star Teresa Giudice, Kids Won’t Be Seeing Joe This Holiday Season

It’s going to be a sad Christmas for Teresa Giudice’s family as it was recently found out that the “Real Housewives of New Jersey” star and her daughters won’t be seeing imprisoned patriarch Joe for the holidays.

An source spoke of the difficult time the Giudices are going through this Christmas time because Joe had been transferred to a different prison facility. “Joe was recently, right around Thanksgiving, moved to a federal prison in Pennsylvania. It takes about four to six weeks for visitors to be approved, so she will unfortunately not be able to see him before Christmas,” the source told People on Friday.

According to the source, Teresa plans to make up for the missed opportunity by visiting Joe after the holidays. “Her hope is that immediately after she gets back from her trip, she will be able to see him once her visiting form is approved,” the source said.

Despite not getting the chance to personally see other, Teresa and her kids strengthen their bond with Joe by regularly communicating with the latter. “They speak multiple times a day over the phone. He’s emailing people all day long. Emails with each of the girls, separately, He is in good spirits and he’s happy and even happier where he is than where he was. This facility is better suited to him,” the insider explained.

Still, this Christmas will be a difficult time for Teresa. Not only is she spending the holidays alone with her kids, she’ll also be longing for her mother Antonia Gorga’s presence. The latter passed away this past March. Furthermore, Teresa’s father was recent put in the intensive care unit since he is struggling with pneumonia.

“This is going to be the first Christmas without Teresa’s mother. For the girls, it’s a Christmas without their father. This is going to be a difficult Christmas for them. So it’s a little bit gloomy,” a source close to the family said.

Meanwhile, Teresa’s feud with “RHONJ” co-star Kim DePaola has recently reignited. DePaola admitted to Page Six that she and the Giudice matriarch faced off in an “explosive” way while filming the reunion special. “Teresa did me dirty. Look at all the friends she went through. Her cousin Kathy [Wakile]. Caroline [Manzo]. Jacqueline [Laurita]. She’s ruthless. She doesn’t care about anybody,” DePaola said when asked as to what caused their beef.

Back in May, Teresa and DePaola got into a heated exchange at the latter’s Porsche fashion show after the latter accused the former of being unfaithful to Joe, who is currently serving his 41-month prison sentence for mail, wire and bankruptcy fraud.
