Rihanna Attends Secret Drake Performance In Las Vegas After ‘One Dance’ Rapper Denies They’re Dating
Drake and Rihanna are adamant they’re not dating, but that hasn’t stopped them from spending quite a bit of time together. Recently, Rihanna was spotted supporting Drake as he performed a surprise show for partygoers at Jewel nightclub in Las Vegas.
People magazine reported the nightclub had been promoting a “special geust,” and it turned out the surprise was rapper Drake, who performed a medley of his songs including “One Dance,” “Jumpman,” “Summer Sixteen,” “Energy” and “Back To Back.” The outlet reported Rihanna didn’t join Drake onstage for his performance, but hung out in the club as he dazzled the crowd.
Earlier this week, Drake dished on his relationship with the “Kiss It Better” singer, saying on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” that they’re just friends. Earlier this month, he talked about their chemistry, saying on Beats 1 Radio OVO Sound that they aren’t “forcing the story.” He explained: “We have genuine energy between us. We do great music together. … I think [our chemistry is] what makes the records better.”
Rihanna also opened up about her dating life telling Ellen DeGeneres on her show in February that she was single. “It’s not that I’m like, ‘Oh, pro-single, yes. I hate men!’ I just think I have so much on my plate that I can’t even find the time to entertain a steady relationship or anything serious. Or even a text,” she said.
Even though the pair continues to deny the dating rumors, a source told People magazine Drake and Rihanna are back together but don’t want to publicly confirm it. “This time around, they want to do it right and keep their relationship private,” the source said. Drake and Rihanna were first linked as a couple in 2009 and were rumored to have dated each other off and on since then.
