Rihanna Dating Soccer Player Karim Benzema? Rumored Couple Spotted Together In New York City

“Disturbia” singer Rihanna may be dating French soccer star Karim Benzema. The two were spotted together early Tuesday morning enjoying a meal at Coppelia, a 24-hour Latin diner near the Chelsea neighborhood in New York City.

"Rihanna and Karim were sitting across from each other," a source said to E! News on Tuesday. "There were about four people at the table and a few more in another table from the same party." The insider also said the pair arrived separately and spoke French to each another. Benzema, 27, plays for Spanish club Real Madrid and for the French national football team as a striker.

Rihanna, 27, and Benzama were also spotted together on Monday night at the Griffin nightclub in the Meatpacking District. The rumored couple may just be friends, since no there were no reports of the pair being affectionate.

The “Diamonds” singer was linked to “Titanic” actor Leonardo DiCaprio earlier this year, though she denied they were dating. However, DiCaprio was spotted at the 27-year-old singer's birthday party on Feb. 20.

“It sounds to me like you should stay away from the blogs because they will screw you every time,” she told Hello! on March 30 via the Daily Mail. “I’m so busy right now that I just don’t have a lot of time to offer to a man, so it wouldn’t even be fair to be thinking of pulling somebody else into this life. But if I did, he would have to be man enough to live with my schedule and not get scared.”

The Barbados-born musician said that her multiple projects, advertising campaigns, hectic schedule and tours make finding a partner who understands her career difficult. Her net worth was estimated at $120 million as of last year.

"I didn't actually take time off. The past two years are the hardest I've ever worked,” she said to V magazine on April 21. “I've been working on two albums, an animated film, shooting for multiple magazines, designing for Puma and Stance, a new line of fragrances, a summer tour, I launched my first annual Diamond Ball at the end of last year, and I've also been developing several projects to be revealed in the near future."
