Rihanna Ends Her 777 Tour For 'Unapologetic,' And Calls Her New York Audience At Webster Hall, The 'Best Crowd Ever'
Rihanna ended her worldwide 777 tour at Webster Hall in New York, calling the audience her “best crowd ever.”
"I'm spoiled right now. You are die-hard fans, one. You don't give a [expletive], two. Three, that makes you unapologetic, a lot like me.
This is definitely the best show so far, and it's not even over. But you guys know I'm not gassing you because you're New Yorkers. You're real,” Rihanna went on to say.
After her show, Rihanna headed to the 40/40 club with Jay-Z, who was also at her concert, according to E! News.
"#777Tour is a wrap! Thanks to everyone who was a part of this. It was an incredible experience for my fans and I! #UNAPOLOGETIC is OWT," Rihanna tweeted.
Her seventh album in seven years,’Unapologetic’ was released on Nov. 19.
Last Wednesday, Rihanna kicked off her "777" tour to promote the album, heading to seven countries in seven days.
She boarded a private Boeing 777, the world’s largest twinjet, along with 150 journalists and a select number of fans. Her first stop was Mexico City, from there she continued to Toronto, Stockholm, Paris, Berlin, London, and lastly, New York.
"I am so excited about the 777 Tour," Rihanna said on her official website. "We are turning this jumbo jet into our tour bus. We're practically living on this thing for a week: sleeping, partying, all together. Me, my fans, the press ... it's going to be a wild ride. I wanted it to be a rock n' roll adventure, and I think when it's over it will be the coolest thing I've ever done. I'm that excited about it."
Rihanna’s album is already predicted to top the music charts around the world.
