Rihanna The Next Bond Girl? Singer Reportedly Appearing In James Bond Franchise

Is Rihanna in line to be the next Bond girl? Producers have approached the international singer to discuss a cameo role in "Bond 24" starring Daniel Craig, according to OK! The movie is slated to start filming this year for a November 2015 release.

It is unclear what role Rihanna will play, but she is said to be excited about the project. "Rihanna is a big fan of the Bond films and has always loved the idea of appearing in one. She didn’t even need to think about it, she knows she wants to do it. She’s really excited," a source tells the magazine.

Craig also seems enthusiastic about the idea. In 2012, he said she would make a great addition to the franchise. In an interview with GlobalGrind.com, the 46-year-old actor was asked about who would make a better Bond girl, Rihanna or Beyoncé.

“Rihanna,” he answered. When asked why the “Diamonds” singer would be a better femme fatale, Craig replied that it was because “she’s dirtier” than her “Drunk in Love” counterpart.

The singer was flattered by his response, retweeting a link to the video interview. “This makes me happy,” Rihanna wrote as a caption.
