Rita Ora Rushed To Miami Hospital After Collapsing From Heat Exhaustion And Dehydration

British singer Rita Ora was rushed to the hospital Monday for heat exhaustion and dehydration, Radar Online wrote. The 22-year-old collapsed in her makeup trailer at a photo shoot in Miami Beach, Fla. Her doctor David Farcy later added that she was fine now.

It was 90 degrees Fahrenheit in South Florida while Ora was shooting the campaign for Madonna’s Material Girl clothing line. The shoot was halted in the middle of production and she was taken away to her trailer before beach patrol officers and Miami ocean rescue could arrive. After being in the trailer for an hour, the singer was feeling so sick that she was taken to the emergency room at Mount Sinai Medical Center, Radar Online wrote.

It was reported that Ora was wearing a hat during the shoot to shield her head from the blazing rays of the Miami sun, but in some of the photographs that were captured before she collapsed, Ora looked ill as she struggled to stand up straight. Earlier in the day, the blonde starlet wore a dress from the Material Girl Collection while wearing bright red lipstick. Ora also took to Twitter that morning to thank MTV UK for including her in the top 60 stars of 2013 and also gave a shout out to her brother Don on his 16^th birthday.
