‘Riverdale’ Season 1 Spoilers: Veronica Kisses Archie In Episode 10 [VIDEO]

“Riverdale” Season 1, episode 10 will see Veronica (Camila Mendes) attempting to kiss Archie (KJ Apa) while the latter is drunk.

In the teaser released by The CW for “The Lost Weekend,” Betty (Lili Reinhart) will throw a birthday party for her boyfriend, Jughead (Cole Sprouse). At first, everything goes well, but it’s only a matter of minutes before everyone starts to get on each other’s nerves. The clip shows Betty slapping one character, while Archie’s girlfriend is also extremely pissed. Cheryl (Madelaine Petsch) will also get into a fight, while Archie is passed out in an empty room. While he is sleeping, Veronica leans in and attempts to kiss him.

Previously, Veronica and Archie also shared a kiss when the former, who was a new girl in school, was dared to make a move on the latter. This upset Betty, who at that time was still interested in her best friend, Archie. Eventually, Veronica apologized to Betty and promised her that no one, not even Archie would get in between them. At present, Betty is already dating Jughead so it’s unclear whether or not the former would be fine with Veronica and Archie becoming a couple.

Elsewhere, episode 10 will see the arrival of Archie’s mom, Mary (Molly Ringwald). Mary and Fred (Luke Perry) will be finalizing their divorce, and this is why she’s in town. When Archie realizes that this is the reason why his mom is back, he becomes upset. However, Archie will keep his feelings to himself and will resort to drinking nonstop at Jughead’s birthday party.
