‘Riverdale’ Star Lili Reinhart Pens Sweet Birthday Message For Cole Sprouse

“Riverdale” star Lili Reinhart recently penned a sweet message to Cole Sprouse on the latter’s 25th birthday on Aug. 4.

On her Instagram account, Reinhart uploaded a photo of Sprouse standing in the middle of a beautiful area surrounded by trees. Sprouse’s back is turned toward the camera so it is unclear whether or not he knows that Reinhart took his photo. But as stunning as Sprouse’s snap is, Reinhart’s touching caption is what made their fans gush.

Reinhart thanked Sprouse for showing her “more beautiful places” within the past year than she has ever seen in her entire life. The actress, who plays Betty Cooper, also expressed her gratitude to Sprouse for all of the adventures they have experienced together.

Just recently, there were reports that claimed Reinhart and Sprouse are dating in real life. A source told E! News that the co-stars couldn’t keep their hands off each other at the 2017 San Diego Comic-Con. Reinhart and Sprouse also attended several parties during the event, and another insider said, “They were very open with their PDA… and close friends didn’t seem surprised.”

Prior to Comic-Con, Reinhart hung out with her female friends, but a source said that the actress kept looking at Sprouse the entire night. Another insider said that at one point, they were spotted talking to each other by the pool. However, Reinhart and Sprouse have not yet confirmed the real status of their relationship.

But in May, Sprouse told MTV News that he and Reinhart are strictly in the friend zone. “Lili and I play characters who are dating, so just about any time she and I go out into the wilderness, it’s, ‘Oh my God!’ But truthfully I’m a sucker for friends, fashion and farming,” he said.

Sprouse plays the role of Jughead in “Riverdale.” The character, who is a new member of the Southside Serpents, is in a relationship with Betty. The couple will face some problems in Season 2 stemming from distance, trust and jealousy.

“Riverdale” Season 2 will premiere on Oct. 11 at 9 p.m. EDT.
