Rob Gronkowski’s net worth is around $40 million. Interestingly, he has admitted that his fortune is a lot bigger than that. How did he save so much money?

Gronkowski is the 6 foot 5 tight end who formerly played for the New England Patriots. He announced his retirement in 2018 due to various injuries he suffered in his career which slowed him down. Even though his career was cut short, he is proud knowing he walked out on his own terms.

RG has earned a total of $54 million in his entire career with the NFL. This figure is not so bad considering he only played for nine years. He added that young players are coming up to him for financial advice. One thing he always preaches is to keep it simple, he said in a report published by Business Insider.

The 9-year veteran provided many highlights when he was still playing. Along the way, he collected multiple awards, too. According to Celebrity Net Worth, he is the franchise record holder for most touchdown receptions by any player in his position. Additionally, he is a 3-time Super Bowl champ, 5-time Pro Bowl winner and was selected in the All-Pro team four times.

His achievements prompted the Patriots to secure him with a long-term deal. The lucrative extension deal was worth $54 million for six years, the biggest ever for a tight end in the history of the NFL.

Unbeknownst to many, he is someone who is smart with his money. A lot of fans see him as a goofy behemoth who loves to do antics and crave for attention but in reality, he is very much grounded. In fact, the 30-year-old claims he still has not touched his earnings from playing professional football.

As per Money, he has been spending the money he gets from commercial deals. Among the brands he collaborated with are Tide, Nike, Dunkin' Donuts, Visa, T-Mobile, Lyft, Cheerios and Monster Energy. Gronkowski revealed that he invests his salary in different platforms and they rake in profits, making his net worth a lot bigger than the conservative estimates.

Gronk was drafted in the second round in 2010 and the gamble paid off for New England. Together with Tom Brady and coach Bill Belichick, the Patriots formed an almost unstoppable force en route to several championships together. Now, the core of the team has changed since the tight end has already retired and Brady donning a new uniform next season.
