Robin Wright Engaged To Ben Foster? 'House Of Cards' Actress Spotted Wearing Engagement Ring
Looks like Robin Wright finally found her Mr. Wright! The “House of Cards” star and her former fiancé, Ben Foster, were spotted rekindling their romance in the City of Love on Tuesday, Jan. 27, following the couple’s shocking break up.
The duo, who began dating in 2011, decided to take their relationship to the next level when the “Lone Survivor” star popped the question to his blond-haired darling in January 2014. However, after a 10-month engagement the Tinseltown twosome called it quits in November, ET Online reported.
"We felt married anyway,” Wright, 48, spoke of her relationship with Foster, 34, during an interview with the Telegraph in February. “We've been together ever since the first date."
However, after two months of being apart it seems as though the wedding is back on! Wright was photographed donning her engagement ring when the couple made an appearance together at the Giorgio Armani Priver Haute Couture show in France.
"They are fully back together and really happy," a source revealed to Us Weekly, insisting that the two red carpet stars were back on the path to getting married. "Ben is the nicest guy. She knows she has a keeper."
The insider added that just because the couple has plans to once again to walk down the aisle, doesn’t mean their problems have disappeared. "There were a bunch of issues before, a lot because of distance and her schedule, but they are working on them," the source elaborated. "It is worth it to be with a guy like this who really cares about her so much."
Wright was previously married to soap opera star Dane Witherspoon and was involved in a 14-year on-again-off-again relationship with actor Sean Penn before the couple divorced in 2010. Wright and the Oscar award-winning actor share two children together, daughter Dylan and son Hopper.
"Divorce in and of itself, and with children, is devastating,” Wright discussed of her split from Penn to the Telegraph. “If you've got kids, it's a family, and you try again, and you try again. We did that for a long time."
