Romney’s Lighter Side: iPads, Beatles, ‘Idol’ and ‘Twilight’
Republican Presidential Candidate Mitt Romney took a break from tackling policy issues to answer questions about his personal tastes in a new interview which aired on Tuesday.
Aside from revealing that he has an iPad and iPhone and revealing he thinks the “Beatles were phenomenal,” he indicated he thought ‘America Idol’ winner Scotty McCreery “was terrific. That guy’s got talent.”
When asked about his favorite books he mentioned the thriller “Rule of Nine,” former President Bush’s ‘Decisions’ and through his granddaughter, the “Twilight” series.
“I like silly stuff too, I like the Twilight series. I thought that was fun,” he said.
He was asked if he liked vampires.
“I don’t like vampires personally, I don’t know any. But my granddaughter was reading it and I thought wow, this looks like fun and so I read that.”
