Ronaldo, Neymar Star In Another Bizarre TV Ad, Could Become Teammates In Juventus
Soccer superstars Cristiano Ronaldo and Neymar da Silva Santos Junior starred in yet another bizarre TV ad together.
Two of the biggest names in Premiere League, Ronaldo and Neymar, have been starring in TV advertisements these past few weeks. Portuguese mobile network Meo released an advert a few weeks back of Neymar and Ronaldo fighting each other inside a boxing ring. And while that looked shocking enough, Meo pulled out another TV commercial involving the two global soccer stars.
This time, Ronald and Neymar are are having a sword fight by candlelight. The fight then takes a bizarre twist as both then wield lightsabers.
Ronald posted the full TV ad video on his official social media account. In the video, Ronaldo and Neymar could be seen wearing medieval clothing to go along with some old-fashioned wigs.
The ad appears to be a successful move by Meo as Ronaldo’s post alone currently has 4.4 million views on Instagram.
Back in the Premire Leauge, reports claim that there is a slight chance Neymar and Ronaldo could be teammates this season. Juventus is reportedly starting to show interest in Neymar after potential deals with Paris Saint-German and Barcelona did not materialize, Give Me Sport noted.
Prior to Juventus talks, the Brazilian forward wants out at Paris Saint-Germain and is reportedly pursuing a return to Barcelona. However, Neymar’s dream of returning to Catalonia seems all but over after reports emerged that Barcelona decided to back out of a deal.
Neymar's return to Barcelona becomes blurry after negotiations between Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain broke down on Friday.
According to GOAL, PSG doubt they will receive an acceptable offer from Barcelona for Neymar ahead of Monday's transfer deadline as stated by the French club’s sporting director Leonardo.
PSG's demands for Neymar reportedly included Ousmane Dembele, Ivan Rakitic and Jean-Clair Todibo plus a large sum of money.
Looking at the massive demand, Barcelona apparently said absolutely “No” and took a step back from the potential deal.
However, Neymar could still move from PSG and there's been talk that Juventus are interested in teaming him up with soccer icon Ronaldo.
Just over a week ago, Ronaldo and Juventus are reportedly dealing with an ongoing controversy pertaining to Ronaldo’s “no-show” in an exhibition game at South Korea last month.
Ronaldo apparently failed to appear for Juventus in their pre-season friendly match against K-League All Stars which fans evidently did not appreciate. During the said match, fans in attendance became angry and even began chanting Messi’s name to try to humiliate Ronaldo.
