Ronda Rousey has not been on World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) since her loss to Becky Lynch in the main event of WrestleMania 35. She labeled it an “impregnation vacation” as she was taking time off from WWE to start a family with husband Travis Browne.

While there has been no news about Rousey being pregnant there is talk of a potential return to the WWE for the former women’s UFC bantamweight champion. She has been busy during her time away from pro-wrestling shooting a film with former WWE star D-Von Dudley while also shooting for Fox Network’s "9-1-1".

WWE is keen to bring Rousey back and her friend Natalya revealed recently that the UFC Hall of Famer does miss the action within the squared circle. However, there has not been any clear indication from Rousey about a comeback in the immediate future.

According to Wrestling Observer’s Dave Meltzer, via Ringside News, the WWE are not keen on Rousey coming back for a one-off appearance and continuing her hiatus from the sport. They want her to come back and help build for a future match with Meltzer having previously stated that the former UFC champion could be part of the SmackDown Live 20th anniversary show on Oct. 4 when they will air their first-ever episode on the Fox Network.

The report claims that WWE is willing to give Rousey, who is contracted to the promotion until 2021, more freedom on her appearances and plan to use her similar to Goldberg, who makes intermittent appearances. The first scenario that comes to mind is a potential rematch with “The Man” Becky Lynch, who is currently the RAW women’s champion having secured it from the California native at WrestleMania 35.

Rousey was an immensely popular figure in the WWE after officially making her in-ring debut at WrestleMania 35. She became the RAW women’s champion beating Alexa Bliss in a dominating performance at SummerSlam and went on to defend it on numerous occasions against Sasha Banks, Natalya, Nia Jax, Sonya DeVille and Charlotte Flair among others.
