Princess Beatrice is creating a media frenzy over the unique (others say awkward) hat that she wore for the Royal Wedding.

A montage of Cinderella and Royal Wedding images has surfaced on the internet, creating another media whirlwind surrounding the Royal Wedding.

Since the wedding, the Princess is getting a lot of attention for her strange and unusual hat. It seems to have stolen the Royal Wedding limelight, and it even has a Facebook Page of its own.

So who is the designer behind the madness? It was Irish-born, Philip Treacy. Treacy has also been know to create hats for Sex and The City star, Sarah Jessica Parker, and pop fashion icon, Lady Gaga.

My inspiration was beauty and elegance. It's a 21st century royal wedding, Treacy told HollywoodLife.com.

They didn't tell me [what they wanted in terms of the hat] because I've known them for a long time. I wanted them to look gorgeous and beautiful.
