The Spanish Princess Letizia and the Duchess of Cambridge, Catherine Middleton, both have a lot in common. Both were born in working-class households, both married extremely eligible bachelors and both are admired for their impeccable style and good looks.
They seem to have endeared everyone with their elegance and style and have been bold enough to wear red, a very unconventional color, on official occasions.
Kate Middleton donned vibrant red dresses during her visits abroad as a royal family member. She was seen in a red tunic dress in Canada in July and, more recently, she wore a bright red dress for her visit to the UNICEF emergency supply centre in Copenhagen, Denmark, in early November.
Spain's Princess Letizia, a former journalist, too has opted for shades of red while attending gala dinners with visiting dignitaries or during her official trips outside Spain. In fact, the Princess even wore a red dress for the Spanish Armed Forces Day in May this year.
