Rumors: WWE Star John Cena 'Engaged' To Girlfriend Shay Shariatzadeh

It looks like John Cena has set his sights on to the ultimate prize.

Unlike his previous relationship, Cena kept his girlfriend Shay Shariatzadeh under the radar and with the series of Instagram posts, it looks like that we will be seeing the 42-year old wrestler walking down the aisle very soon.

Rumors kept spreading about the unpublicized engagement between the WWE star and Shariatzadeh after the latter was seen wearing a ring with a huge diamond as seen on a fan’s post on Instagram, rising the speculations that the Cena has already popped the question.

Per Wrestling Inc, the couple was at the Belmont Park in San Diego, CA when a fan asked for a photo with the 13-time WWE Champion. Shay was caught in the background and that’s where people noticed the ring that made people think of the status between the two.

Going through the Instagram account of the newest addition to the “Fast & Furious 9”, Cena posted a couple of what appears to be a hint of what is going on with his relationship status. One of them is a random photo that says “Stone Cold Sweethearts, Say Yes”.

Two days after, he posted what looks like a painting of a dancing couple in traditional wedding suits. Thinking of the order that it was shared, it could have been something about Shay agreeing to be Mrs. Cena.

Neither of the two, though, confirmed the rumored engagement.

The couple was first spotted together in March 2019, almost a year after his split with then-fiancee and fellow WWE wrestler Nikki Bella, and has been seen many times together around the San Diego area. Shariatzadeh is an electrical engineer and, per a couple-year-old video, is a project manager for an AI-powered security solutions company with their headquarters located in Canada.

Cena previously appeared on TODAY and said that he is extremely happy with his relationship with Shariatzadeh.
