‘RuPaul’s Drag Race’ Christmas Special 2018: Spoilers, Cast, Trailer

“RuPaul’s Drag Race” is ready to slay this Christmas season with a holiday-themed episode.

The one-hour special, “RuPaul’s Drag Race Holi-slay Spectacular,” will follow eight queens as they compete for the title of Drag Race Xmas Queen. Past favorites Eureka O’Hara, Kim Chi, Jasmine Masters, Latrice Royale, Sonique, Mayhem Miller, Shangela and Trixie Mattel are returning as the contestants.

They’ll fight to be crowned the winner by dancing and lip-syncing to music from RuPaul’s holiday albums. Who will come out on top? Well, that’ll be up to the four judges — RuPaul, Todrick Hall, Michelle Visage and Ross Mathews.

Fans can expect to see some “jaw-dropping surprises, eye-popping fashions, and epic performances choreographed by Todrick Hall,” according to a press release. There will also be an extended sneak peek at Season 4 of the “All Stars” series.

“Nothing says Christmas like ‘Chestnuts roasting on an open fire, and drag queens slipping on their pantyhose,’” said RuPaul in the press release. “Celebrating the holidays with my most festive girls inspired me to record my new album, ‘Christmas Party.’”

He continued: “And this VH1 holiday extravaganza is my way of saying thank you to my ‘Drag Race’ family by spreading a little bit of love, laughter and light across the country and around the world.”
