There could be a new "hot couple alert" issued if Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson and pop star Ciara are truly an item. News that the duo were dating first erupted Thursday.

They were seen together at NBC’s “I Can Do That” wrap party April 10, Us Weekly reported. “They were cozy in a booth together at the party,” a source said. Dating rumors fueled after he listed the singer as his "plus one" for Saturday's White House Correspondents Association dinner in Washington, D.C., the Washington Post reported.

But Wilson might show up with a different woman: his grandmother. "Can't wait to dance with my beautiful date at the WHCD this weekend! #shesgotmoves #loveugrandma," he wrote on Facebook Thursday. He also shared a video of him and his grandmother dancing.

Even though it’s all speculation for now, there is always “constant laughter and fun” when Ciara and the NFL pro are together, E! News reported. "It's still at the beginning stages and it's very fresh," one source said. "She thinks he is a complete gentleman and has really enjoyed hanging out with him these past few weeks,” an insider said. "Things are a bit busy for both of them now, but they are willing to make time and see where this may go.”

Ciara shares an 11-month-old son, Future Jr., with ex-fiancé, rapper Future. That shouldn’t be a problem for Wilson because he “loves children,” an insider said. "Baby Future is her top priority and his happiness is number one, always. Her heart is very open now and has healed from her breakup with Future. She is very open in having a new relationship and really excited [about] where this may go."

The singer loves to gush about her son, and recently talked about him on New York City radio station WWPR-FM's "The Breakfast Club."

"You live and you learn. My son has given me so much clarity. Now I'm like a full-on woman," she said. "You don't really understand what that means until a few things happen to you in life, but my son has totally given me so much clarity and I couldn't be more clear than I've needed to be."

Neither Wilson nor Ciara have responded to the dating rumors.
