Hey, baby girl. Ryan Gosling is reportedly “infatuated” with his child after girlfriend Eva Mendes gave birth, E! News reports. (It should be noted the acting couple has not even acknowledged a pregnancy -- let alone the birth of an apparent child -- yet stories continue to claim they had a baby together.)

Mendes and Gosling are also fatigued after the child, whose name has not been released, was born on Sept. 12 in Los Angeles, a source told the news site. The private couple is reportedly trying to get used to life with a baby. "They're both great, but exhausted," the insider said. "They know it's going to be a little while before the baby adjusts to a schedule."

Mendes is apparently thrilled about being a mother. “She’s absolutely in heaven being a mom. She’s never been happier,” a source told People magazine. “She and Ryan are just in awe of this beautiful person they created. It’s a really special time for them.”

Gosling’s mother and sister were purportedly seen at their house for a visit Wednesday and both actors' mothers have helped with the baby. "Both grandmothers are so in love and have been to the house every day," a different source said.

Even though People confirmed the pregnancy, the couple has still been quiet about the child’s alleged birth. Still, it’s something both new parents reportedly wanted. “This has been a long time coming,” a source told the mag. “Ryan and Eva definitely discussed children before. She knows how much he wants to be a dad, and he’s going to be an amazing father.”

Mendes, 40, and Gosling, 33, started dating in 2011 after they met on the set of “The Place Beyond the Pines.”
