Ryan Seacrest Gushes Over Girlfriend Shayna Taylor On ‘Live With Kelly And Ryan’

Ryan Seacrest may have found the love of his life in girlfriend Shayna Taylor.

The “American Idol” reboot host gushed over his personal chef-partner during a recent episode of “Live With Kelly and Ryan.” Taylor, who has not guested on any other TV show, participated in the “Banana Bread Bake Off” segment alongside executive producer Michael Gelman’s wife, Laurie. The objective is to figure out which of the two could make the tastiest and healthiest banana bread.

Seacrest’s co-host, Kelly Ripa, revealed that there has been a constant back-and-forth between him and Gelman regarding their significant partners and their banana bread. “We’ve decided to put an end to this madness – this two days of madness – and have them battle in a banana bread bake off,” she said.

When it was time to call his girlfriend on stage, Seacrest couldn’t help but gush over Taylor. “Today’s contender is a personal chef, a graduated of the Art Institute Culinary School and in my opinion, the greatest cook in town. I’m proud and excited to have her here,” he said.

Taylor, who said that she is not really a baker, took on the challenge with ease. She also shared the complete recipe for her delicious banana bread on her Instagram account. But if there’s one person who takes on Taylor’s homemade recipes, it’s definitely her boyfriend.

“I believe in homemade everything – homemade everything is kind of my jam since you don’t really know what ingredients are in store-bought foods,” she said.

Meanwhile, the result of the bake off will be revealed on Wednesday after Laurie makes Seacrest and Ripa taste her version of the banana cake. So far, Taylor’s baking has been complimented by her boyfriend and Ripa.

On top of this, Seacrest also noted how confident Taylor is in front of the cameras even though it was her first time to be on television. “You’re very comfortable on national television. She’s very poised. You’re doing a great job,” he said.

According to People, Seacrest and Taylor dated several years ago, but only reunited recently. Earlier this year, they decided to move in together.
