Sam Poueu And Stephanie Anderson 'Biggest Loser' Divorce: Shocking New Details Emerge About Why They Split

Former "Biggest Loser" contestants Sam Poueu and Stephanie Anderson are getting a divorce after he admitted cheating on her with multiple women.

The couple met in 2010 while taping a special ninth season episode of the NBC weight-loss reality show on a ranch in Calabasas, Calif. Now, just a year after getting married in May 2012, they're splitting up two months ahead of the birth of their first child, a boy, in July.

They had sought marriage counseling after Anderson, 33, felt they were no longer connecting on the same level.

"It was getting dire,” an insider told People magazine. Poueu, 28, came clean at one of the counseling sessions.

"In one of the counseling sessions, Sam thought he would make it better by confessing. He [admitted] that he had cheated on her with multiple women throughout the course of their courtship and marriage," the source continued. "He told her everything.”

At that point, Anderson decided it would be best to end the union.

"The circumstances and specifics of our marriage and our separation are extremely difficult and private," Anderson said in a statement.

In a recent interview with Us Weekly confirming the divorce, Anderson said, "It is with great sadness that my marriage to Sam Poueu is ending. Thank you in advance for respecting our privacy during this difficult time.”
