Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro With Quad HD 6-inch Display And Powerful Specs Likely Under Construction

Samsung is speculated to be working on an upgraded version of the recently Galaxy A9 smartphone. The purported smartphone is expected to be launched as Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro.

The alleged Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro has a model number of SM-A9100, Sam Mobile reported. The Galaxy A9 that features an enormous 6-inch screen has a model number of SM-A9000. The display of the Galaxy A9 supports a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels.

The Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro is also likely to feature a 6-inch display. However, instead of full HD resolution, it is expected to carry support a higher resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels.

Under the hood of the Galaxy A9 is the Snapdragon 652 chipset. It is coupled with 3 GB of RAM. It comes with a native storage of 32 GB. The rumor mill is yet to reveal the entire specs of the Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro. Early speculations suggest that it will be coming with an enhanced chipset and carry support for more native storage.

The Galaxy A9 comes preloaded with Android 5.1.1 Lollipop OS. Its upgraded version is expected to arrive preinstalled with Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS.

The Samsung Galaxy A9 houses a 13-megapixel camera on its rear panel. It carries support for optical image stabilization. It features a selfie camera of 8-megapixel. Other specs of the Galaxy A9 include fingerprint sensor, 4000 mAh battery and color variants like white, black, gold and pink.

As far as the other specs of the Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro are concerned, it is likely to feature similar specs as that of the Galaxy A9. Samsung has released the Galaxy A9 only in China. Hence, the Galaxy A9 Pro is expected to launch exclusively in China. However, the South Korean tech giant is expected to later on release the Galaxy A9 Pro in other markets of the world.
