Samsung hasn’t released its upcoming Galaxy Note 10 smartphones yet, but it has already launched the trade-in program where those who own any Samsung Galaxy S7 to S10-series phone, Apple iPhone starting from the iPhone 6S onward, or Google Pixel device can trade in their devices in exchange for money.

According to the Galaxy Note 10 reservation page, those who are interested to swap their device for Samsung’s upcoming phablet can get up to $600 in value depending on the device they are trading in. Here’s a quick glance at the devices Samsung will accept according to brand:

Samsung

  • Galaxy S10e, Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10 Plus, Galaxy Note 9 - $600
  • Galaxy S9, Galaxy S9 Plus, Galaxy Note 8 - $300
  • Galaxy S8, Galaxy S8 Active, Galaxy S8 Plus, Galaxy S7, Galaxy S7 Active, Galaxy S7 edge - $200

Android Police warns that those who want to trade in their devices should know that Samsung has a track record of “not honoring these promotions to their fullest.” Those who would pursue the trade-in are advised to take a good look at their device and examine its condition. Netizens even advise to take many photos of the device showing its actual condition, as well as a video of the owner packaging it.

Those who would want to trade-in their devices are also advised to take a good look at the Galaxy Note 10’s specs before pushing through. Samsung hasn’t officially unveiled it yet, but recent leaks reveal what it offers.

The Galaxy Note 10 will feature a 6.3-inch Dynamic AMOLED 1080p display with a pixel density of 401 PPI and support for HDR10+. Under the hood, the Galaxy Note 10 is powered by a Snapdragon 855+ SoC. European models, however, will be powered by an Exynos 9825 SoC. This is backed by 8GB of RAM and up to 256 GB internal storage.

The phone has three rear cameras (12MP + 12MP + 16MP) and a 10MP front-facing camera. It will have a 3,500 mAh battery, will support 25W charging via USB-C, and will, of course, support the S Pen with Air Actions gestures.
