Samsung has recently revealed details about its next Unpacked event. This event is expected to showcase the Galaxy Note 10 in all its glory. Here’s what we know so far.

The company said that the next Unpacked event is scheduled to happen in New York on Aug. 7, according to CNN. The Unpacked event is where the South Korean smartphone giant usually reveals its upcoming devices, especially its flagship handsets.

Samsung’s new Galaxy Note 10 is expected to be revealed at the event. On Samsung’s end, the company has yet to reveal any details about this new smartphone. Moreover, the company didn’t confirm any specific devices that will be announced at the conference.

Based on circulating reports, the Galaxy Note 10 is likely to have an array of new features. An upgraded selfie camera, fingerprint reader, micro SD slot, headphone jack and 45W charging capability could be included in the new Android phone. Meanwhile, its design is still under wraps.

According to Samsung, the next Unpacked event is going to “unveil new devices designed to take the Galaxy ecosystem’s connectivity to the next level.” It’s highly likely that the teach giant was teasing about the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 and the next-generation Galaxy Home device. The Galaxy Home smart speaker is known for linking many Samsung devices together for an outstanding sound experience.

Samsung is currently recovering from the blunder it had with the Galaxy Fold. While many reviewers praised the company for its innovation, it was frowned upon after they discovered that the device was fragile and was prone to breakage in just a few days.

Samsung Electronics CEO DJ Koh has admitted to have rushed the release of the foldable phone, and the company has since been working on improving the device. It’s not clear if the improved Galaxy Fold would be part of the upcoming Unpacked event.
