Samsung Galaxy Note to be Available at AT&T Stores on Feb. 19
Samsung's eagerly awaited Galaxy Note will be available at AT&T on Feb. 19 for $300 with a two-year contract.
AT&T will start taking pre-orders from Feb. 5 for the mega-screened phone with a stylus, and all pre-orders filed before 3 p.m. will arrive by Feb. 17, the company said in a release.
The Galaxy Note brings a big 5.3 inch Super AMOLED screen, 1280 x 800, plus 4G LTE data access to the users. The Galaxy Note caught a lot of attention at the Consumer Electronics Show because of its large, bright screen and its stylus, making it look vaguely reminiscent of the PDA-era. The stylus is supposed to make it easy to take notes, draw, edit photos and even digitize handwriting into text.
The Note will come with Samsung's S Pen software, which, according to Samsung, will help in accurate sketching and artwork and instantly capturing ideas. The Note also has S Memo, a multimedia application designed to record all forms of user-created content according to Samsung. This content includes pictures, voice recordings, typed text, handwritten notes or drawings. Each can be captured and converted to a memo, which can be edited, annotated and shared as desired.
