Samsung Galaxy S20 Might Debut At $850

The Samsung Galaxy S20 series is one of the most talked-about upcoming smartphones this year. An exhausting barrage of leaks and rumors surface almost every day, revealing more details about the forthcoming flagship smartphone series from the South Korean tech and electronics giant. These leaks are now confusing consumers, particularly when it comes to the price of the models releasing under the Galaxy S20 brand.
Samsung Galaxy S20 Prices
At present, tipsters have different retail prices for the Samsung Galaxy S20 series. Max Weinbach claims that the upcoming flagship smartphone series from Samsung would be released in the UK with the following prices: £799 for Samsung Galaxy S20 4G, £874 for the Galaxy S20 5G, £999 for the Galaxy S20 Plus 4G, £1074 for the 5G variant, and £1149 for the Galaxy S20 Ultra variant.
Meanwhile, tipster Ishan Agarwal claims that the Galaxy S20 4G would be available at €899. The Galaxy S20 5G variant would retail at €999, the tipster adds. He also says that the Samsung Galaxy S20 Plus 5G would retail at €1,099, while the Galaxy S20 Ultra would be available at €1,349.
Amid all these confusing prices, Counterpoint Research has a different set of pricing for the Samsung Galaxy S20 series. According to the report, the Galaxy S20 base model would retail at $850, which is $50 less than its counterpart Galaxy S10. This pricing would ease resistance from possible buyers because of premium prices, adds the report.
Other Details
Counterpoint Research also predicts that the Samsung Galaxy S20 series would sell more than 40 million units, a little higher than its predecessor. So far, we have a number of leaks that gave away some interesting details about the flagship series from Samsung. Earlier leaks suggested that it would feature a massive camera upgrade to close the gap with Apple’s iPhone 11 series.
The Galaxy S20 Ultra reportedly would sport a whopping 100 MP primary shooter with 100x zoom. It would also feature massive RAM upgrades, which could be between 12 GB and 16 GB. Moreover, the variants would offer 5G wireless network connectivity support.
