Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Price Cut By $200 In eBay
The curved-edge Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge is one of the innovative devices from the South Korean conglomerate, and demand for the unique and brilliant design of the Edge has reportedly been skyrocketing. But this smartphone does have its negative aspects as well. This includes the lack of a microSD card slot and the removable battery unit. The price is also a turn off. The good news is, the Galaxy S6 Edge is now available at a discounted price on eBay.
The original Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge price hovers somewhere in the ambit of $800, depending on the carrier and retailer. Now, the same device can be purchased from eBay for only $599.99 for the unlocked model. With this deal, potential buyers can save more than $200. Readers should note that only the AT&T version of the Galaxy S6 Edge is available at this price. Notably, AT&T used to offer this handset at $814.90, noted Phone Arena.
The handset features a 5.1-inch display, aided by a phenomenal QHD screen resolution of 2,560 x 1,440 pixels. This display configuration trickles down to a pixel density of 577 ppi, assuring a good viewing experience. To top it off, the handset is protected by Corning’s new Gorilla Glass 4.
The phone comes powered by an octa-core Samsung Exynos 7420 processor and backed by 3 GB of RAM. The device runs on Android 5.0.2 Lollipop OS, along with TouchWiz UI. However, this OS version is upgradable to Android v5.1.1 Lollipop.
The S6 Edge comes equipped in 32 GB, 64 GB and 128 GB options for internal storage capacity with no microSD slot. The device has a 16-megapixel rear-facing camera unit with OIS support and LED flash. In addition, there is a 5-megapixel front-facing unit.
The Galaxy S6 Edge houses a non-removable Li-Ion 2,600 mAh unit, which is capable of providing up to 18 hours of 3G talk time. This handset also comes with the wireless charging (Qi/PMA) capability.
