Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge Batman Edition Official Teasers Emerge
During the first quarter of 2016, Samsung was rumored to be working on a “Batman vs. Superman” edition of the Galaxy S7 series. However, there was no news after the initial set of rumors. Now, Samsung has finally shared teasers of this limited edition device.
As it turns out, the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge Batman edition has got nothing to do with the superhero movie. Instead, the device theme is reportedly based on “Injustice: Gods Among Us,” which is a video game based on the fictional universe of DC comics. It is worth noting that the teaser shows only the “Edge” variant of the S7 series.
Going by the teasers, the Galaxy S7 Edge Batman edition has a stunning golden Bat logo on the back panel. It also shows a customized box with the Bat logo.

In general, limited-edition customized models from various OEMs come with the same internal configurations as the original device. Therefore, it is safe to assume that the Galaxy S7 Edge Batman edition will also feature the same 5.5-inch Super AMOLED display, 2,560 x 1,440 pixels resolution and Corning’s Gorilla Glass 4 panel protection.
Under the hood, either Exynos 8890 or Snapdragon 820 will be powering the handset with 4 GB of RAM backing it. On the software front, Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS runs the device.
Other Galaxy S7 Edge features include 12-megapixel rear-facing camera, a 5-megapixel front-facing shooter, fingerprint scanner and a non-removable Li-Ion 3,600 mAh battery cell. Unlike the Galaxy S6 series, S7 lineup comes with microSD card slot to facilitate expansion.
