Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 Price Leaked

Samsung has inadvertently leaked the price of the upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 2 in one country, giving consumers everywhere an idea as to how much they will have to pay to get it.

Foldable smartphone fans longing to get Samsung's new Galaxy Z Fold 2, the successor to the first-gen Galaxy Fold, will be glad to know that it will be cheaper than the older model – at least in the U.K. This is because the South Korean giant already revealed the device's price well ahead of its release.

First spotted by notable leaker Max Weinbach, Samsung's U.K. website listed the Galaxy Z Fold 2 with a £1,799 price tag. This is definitely cheaper than last year's infamously problematic device, which cost £1,899 upon release. The price difference means U.K.-based buyers will save £100.

U.S.-based consumers might be shocked to find out that the Galaxy Z Fold 2's price could reach nearly $2,400 based on current conversion rates, but there's no need to worry. If Samsung will follow the Galaxy Note 20 series' pricing, the new foldable will likely cost around $1,899 – still $100 cheaper than the first Galaxy Fold.

The listing, which has been updated to remove the price as of writing, also shows that the Galaxy Z Fold 2 is only currently available in a 256GB storage variant.

It's currently unclear if Samsung will offer the device in different storage sizes. But what's known is that it will be available in mystic bronze and mystic black colors.

Samsung is also planning on releasing a Thom Browne edition of the Galaxy Z Fold 2, Weinbach tweeted. Pricing and other details about this model remain unknown at the moment.

Images of this Galaxy Z Fold 2 edition, however, show that it will feature the designer's signature details.
