Samsung's 'Galaxy S2' Sales Hit 3 Million Globally
Samsung's strategic Smartphone Galaxy S2 which Samsung made to battle Apple's iPhone has sold 3 million units globally.
South Korean giant electronic company has launched Galaxy S2 in S.Korea first in late April this year.
The sales total was accomplished in 55 says since it began in April.
This record is 30 days faster than the first version of the phone, called Galaxy S.
The phone has been the top seller for 17 consecutive weeks in United Kingdom where Samsung first launched Galaxy S2 among European countries and recently has surged to rank No. 1 in Austria as well in terms of Smartphone market share.
Lately Apple has sued Samsung for copying its iPhone and iPad devices. Samsung has countersued Apple, saying the devices infringe the company's patents.
